Fault symptoms
^ CHECK ENGINE.

On-Board Diagnostics

Type of diagnosis:
^ Continuous. Terminated when fault criteria fulfilled. Restarts next driving cycle.

Enable criteria:
^ General conditions for this trouble code: Atmospheric pressure must exceed 72 kPa and the engine coolant and intake air temperature must exceed -7 degree C.
^ Engine running. Closed loop blocked in rich or lean mode for a number of combustions in order to maintain a voltage of 0.6 V from oxygen sensor 2. The number of combustions that is required is adapted.

Fault criteria:
^ Closed loop blocked in lean mode for more than 35 combustions.

Dependents:
^ P0115, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0119, P0131, P0132 and P0134.

System reaction to a fault:
^ None.

OK report:
^ Number of adapted combustions has dropped at some time during the driving cycle.

^ Type III.

NOTE: Oxygen sensor receives reference oxygen from the surrounding air via the connecting cables. For this reason, electrical contact spray or grease must not be used on the oxygen sensor connector.
