Solenoid Pressure Regulation. Open/Short to Ground. Short to B+.





Fault symptoms

CHECK GEARBOX warning lamp is on.

TCM in Limp-Home mode.

Conditions
Fluid temperature exceeds 20°C

Battery voltage between 11 and 16 V.

Fault criteria
If the control unit detects that the current consumption for the pressure control solenoid is outside its limits, DTC P0748 will be generated.

System reaction to a fault
No adaptation

Transmission in limp home mode.

The control unit sends a request for torque limitation to Trionic.

Diagnostic help
The status of the pressure control solenoid can be read using the diagnostic tool. The pressure control solenoid governs the system pressure of the gearbox. The pressure control solenoid can be activated with the diagnostic tool.

Check the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the various leads. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic instrument while carrying out this check.
