Fault symptoms

CHECK GEARBOX warning lamp on.

TCM in Limp-Home mode.

Conditions
^ Transmission in 1st gear
^ The TCM not in the Limp-home mode.
^ The selector lever is in position L, 3, 4 or D
^ Fluid temperature over 20°C
^ Engine speed over 400 rpm
^ The brake pedal is not depressed

Fault criteria
The gear ratio diverges by more than 3% from the expected value when the vehicle is driven in 1st gear
