CHECK GEARBOX warning lamp is on.

TCM in Limp-Home mode.

Conditions
Ignition ON

Fault criteria
The TCM uses the different combination of voltage outputs from the gear position sensor to determine which gear is selected. A faulty combination of gear position sensor outputs in the TCM generates diagnostic trouble code P0705.

Diagnostic help
The gear position sensor outputs to the TCM can be read using the diagnostic tool. Status: ON (B+) or OFF (ground).
