Checking Mechanical Limp-Home












The diagnostic trouble code may be generated if the throttle valve is in the mechanical limp-home position without the control module knowing it.
^ Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
^ Switch off the ignition and wait 10 seconds to ensure that the flap valve motor will be without current.
^ Turn the pedal arm and make sure the throttle arm does not move.
