Fault symptoms
^ CHECK ENGINE
^ Slow idling speed.

On-Board Diagnostics

Type of diagnosis:
^ Continuous. But interrupted when fault criteria fulfilled and will not restart until next driving cycle.

Enable criteria:
^ General conditions for this trouble code: Atmospheric pressure must exceed 72 kPa and the engine coolant and intake air temperatures must exceed -7 degree C.
^ Engine running. Car stationary. Accelerator pedal fully released. Engine load lower than 225 mg/c. Idle speed control requesting greatest possible air mass per combustion.

Fault criteria:
^ Engine speed is more than 100 rpm lower than the requested idling speed for 10 s.

Dependents:
^ P0501, P0502, P1230, P1530, P1531, P1532 and P1925.

System reaction to a fault:
^ None.

OK report:
^ Diagnosis performed once and fault criteria not fulfilled.

^ Type III.
