ABS With TCS Only

C1540 Solenoid valves. Open Circuit





Fault symptoms
ABS, brakes and central warning lamps are on.
TCS OFF indicator lamp is on.
No ABS or TCS function.

Conditions
^ If there is no current supplied to three or more of the valves.
^ If the control module's internal voltage relay is defective.
^ No +30 power supply to the control module (pins 17 and 18).

Diagnostic help
^ The solenoid valves can be activated using the diagnostic tool.
- Select "Activate"
- Select: "Valves"

The respective valve can then be selected in the sub-menu. The selected valve is activated for about 30 seconds at frequency of 1 Hz.
