Fault Symptoms
Error message "PARK ASSIST FAILURE" shown on the SID when reverse gear is selected
The SPA stops measurement and acoustic signals are given by the SID when the SPA shuts down.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for the diagnostic trouble code in question:
- Ignition switch in ON position
- Reverse gear selected
- The sensor power supply is below approx. 4 V.
