Fault symptoms
The Balance, Fader, Bass or Treble control does not work.

Conditions
The main unit is reading incorrect potentiometer values for one or more of the Balance, Fader, Bass and Treble controls.

Diagnostic help
^ The position of the controls can be read using the diagnostic instrument.
^ The diagnostic instrument shows the status of all the controls.
^ The values of all controls should constantly vary between approx. -10 and +10 when the controls are turned between their end positions.

Diagnostic procedure
Change the front panel.
