Air Distribution Motor. Short to Ground












Fault symptoms
Perceived temperature in cabin too high or too low compared to the set temperature.

The air distribution does not correspond to set position.

Conditions
The following conditions apply:
- When the current exceeds a certain value on any of the stepping motor outputs in the control module, a diagnostic trouble code for short circuit is generated.
- If the voltage to the stepping motors is lower than permitted value then the open circuit diagnostic trouble code is generated.
- Continuous monitoring and with calibration.
