Solar Sensor. Open Circuit / Communication Fault







Fault symptoms
Perceived temperature in cabin too high or too low compared to the set temperature.

Conditions
The following conditions apply:
- Ignition ON
- Open circuit or communication fault.
- The solar sensor continuously sends an identification pulse 5V-0V-5V. The control module continuously searches for identification pulses.
- The diagnostic trouble code is deleted after the ignition has been switched on 20 times if the malfunction conditions have not been fulfilled.
- When the diagnostic trouble code is generated the control module use a substitute value.
