Seatbelt Warning Lamp. Open Circuit / Short to B+







Fault symptoms
A short-circuit to B+ gives the symptom that the seat belt warning lamp does not light.

An open circuit has the symptom that the seatbelt reminder lamp illuminates independently of the seatbelt buckle contact.

Conditions
No diagnostic trouble code is generated for voltages under 11 V and during diagnostic communication.

Diagnostic help
The control module output can be activated with the diagnostic tool.

Fault diagnosis procedure is not available.
