Ignition on

Fault criteria
Upon ignition, the impact sensor carries out a self-test. If an internal fault is detected, the impact sensor sends a message to the control module and a DTC is set.

System reaction to a fault
The control module ignores all signal from the impact sensor as long as the fault is present.
