Background
In some cases the car's wiring harness can generate interference which can cause poor reception on the radio's AM waveband.
In the case of customer complaint, the following procedure must be carried out.
Symptom description
Interference when listening to the radio's AM waveband.
Parts required
12 852 812 Antenna filter
Procedure
1. Remove the glove box, see WIS - Body - Interior equipment - Adjustment/Replacement - Glove box.
2. Fold aside the sound insulation and detach the power supply connection to the converting connector at the A-pillar.

3. Remove the converting connector's bottom nut.
4. Connect the antenna filter and the cable for the power supply to the converting connector.

5. Fit the antenna filter's cable terminal to the converting connector's bottom retaining bolt.
Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 lbf ft)
6. Fold back the sound insulation.
7. Fit the glove box, see WIS - Body - Interior equipment -
Adjustment/Replacement - Glove box.
