Fault symptom
Check Engine (OBD II).
Higher idling speed.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
Continuous

Enable criteria:
Engine running.
Accelerator pedal released.
Vehicle speed 0 km/h.
Engine load less than 225 mg/c.

Fault criteria:
Engine speed below requested idling speed by more than 100 rpm for more than 10 s.

Dependent
None

System reaction to a fault:
Control module continues working with the higher idling function.

OK report:
Fault criteria NOT fulfilled for 11 s.

Fault handling:
Type III
