General conditions for this DTC
- NONE of the following DTCs should be detected: P0117, P0118.

Test 1
- Ignition ON.
- Engine temperature over 71 degree C.
- Max 20 degree C difference between exhaust temperature and intake air temperature.

Test 2
- Engine running.
- Engine temperature under 71 degree C.

Fault criteria:

Test 1
- When the difference between engine temperature and intake air temperature is greater than 20 degee C.

Test 2
- When temperature increase during a period of 180 s is less than 2 degree C with a load less than 150 mg/C or greater than 300 mg/C.

Dependent:
None

System reaction to a fault:
-

OK report:
Test 1 and Test 2 completed once and fault criteria not fulfilled.

Fault handling:
Type III
(See Description of On-Board Diagnostics/Fault handling III, "Other emission-related components and functions" for more information.)
