Adjusting Tailgate Locking Functions With Diagnostic Instrument

Adjusting Tailgate Locking Functions With Diagnostic Instrument

Speed-dependent locking of tailgate

- Options: Disconnected or 2 - 14 km/h
- Factory setting: Disconnected

If the setting Disconnected is selected, the tailgate will not be locked automatically.

However, if a value between 2 - 14 km/h is selected, the tailgate will be locked when this speed is exceeded for 1 second or more.

Automatic re-locking of tailgate

- Options: No locking/Immediate locking - 240 second delay
- Factory setting: No locking

If the setting No locking is selected, the tailgate will remain unlocked if it has been unlocked but not opened. If the car is locked with the remote control, the button on the centre console or with a key, the tailgate will be locked.

If instead a value between Immediate locking and 5-240 seconds is selected, the tailgate will be locked automatically after the set time.

The setting Immediate locking means that the tailgate will lock immediately after being closed.

For example, if 30 seconds is selected, the tailgate will lock 30 seconds after it was unlocked.
