Prepared Towing Installation







A wiring harness is pre-fitted for the installation of a tow hook. An 8-pin connector 258 is provided under the LH rear light.

The following feeds pass through the connector:

Pin 1 - 8:

Between pins 5 and 8 there is a jumper that must be removed if a "check unit" for rear fog lights is being fitted.

Fault diagnosis hints
1. Check the electric contacts at the electric connection of the trailer hitch which is at risk of oxidation.
2. Check that there is a voltage on the relevant connection in the connector 258.
3. Check fuses and wiring harnesses.
