Discharge Air Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Mixed-air Temperature Sensor







Removing
1. Remove the glove box.
2. Remove the side panel from the centre console.
3. Remove the floor air duct.
4. Unhook and pull out the mixed-air temperature sensor.







5. Remove the connector and press out the sensor leads.

Fitting







1. Fit the leads in the connector and plug in the connector.
2. Fit the mixed-air temperature sensor in the climate control unit. Check that the sensor snaps into position.
3. Refit the floor air duct.







4. Refit the side panel on the centre console.
5. Put the glove box back in place.
6. Calibrate the ACC-system by simultaneously pressing the buttons "AUTO" and "OFF".


IMPORTANT: All previous diagnostic trouble codes are erased when calibrating. Obtain readouts of stored diagnostic trouble codes before calibrating.
