Important: The Activate functions must always be used with caution. Always deactivate an activated function before moving on to a new Tech 2 menu item. Always clear any diagnostic trouble codes set in the TC/ABS control module or any other system when you have finished work.

Note: When a system function is activated by the diagnostic instrument, the control module is being instructed to execute a command that it would not normally be doing. In the Activate mode, the diagnostic tool tests the control module and you should therefore use the Activate command with caution. An activated function is always reset when you leave the Activate mode to move to another menu item.
