Fault symptoms
- CHECK ENGINE.

On-Board Diagnostics

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous. Ceases when fault criteria fulfilled. Restarts next driving cycle.

Enable criteria:
- General condition for this diagnostic trouble code: Atmospheric pressure must exceed 72 kPa as well as coolant and intake air temperature must exceed -70 degree C.
- Engine running. Closed loop blocked in rich or lean position during a number of combustions to maintain the voltage from the oxygen sensor 2 at 0.6 V. Number of required combustions is adapted.

Fault criteria:
- Closed loop blocked in lean position for more than 35 combustions.

Dependents:
- P0115, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0119, P0131, P0132 and P0134.

System reaction to a fault:
- None.

OK report:
- Number of adapted combustions has at some time dropped during the driving cycle.

- Type III.
