Check the Harness Between Module and Airbag

Check The Wiring Harness Between The Control Module And The Driver's Side Airbag

Measure the resistance across:
- 10 Control module, Airbag







- B-







- Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

The reading obtained should be infinity

Is the function correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead

YES - Continue to Check the wiring harness between the control module and the driver's side airbag

Measure the resistance across:
- 11 Control module, Airbag







- B-







- Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
The reading obtained should be infinity

Is the function correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead

YES - Changing Components
