NOTE: When a system function is activated with the diagnostic tool, the control module executes a command that is not functionally normal. In activating mode, the diagnostic tool controls the control module, for which reason the activation command should be used with care. An activated function is always reset after exiting activation mode and another selection is made in the diagnostic tool's menu.

Text Function
SAAB Part Number: Indicates SAAB's 7-digit part number for the control module.
Vehicle Identification Number: Shows SAAB's 17-digit VIN
Hardware Version Number: Displays the control module's x digit version number.
Software Version Number: Displays the software version.
