Xenon Lighting System Calibration

Xenon Lighting System, Calibration

The headlamp beam length adjustment system must be calibrated after changing the headlamp, AHL control module or the front and rear load angle sensors. The system must also be calibrated after undoing or dismantling the front or rear load angle sensor.

Check the following points before carrying out calibration.
- The car must be level.
- The car must be unladen.
- Stabilise the suspension by rocking the car.
- The handbrake must not be applied.
- The xenon lamps must be turned on.

Connect the diagnostic tool and perform calibration of both AHL control modules.

Check the function of the head lamps and clear any trouble codes.

Check the headlamp alignment and adjust as necessary.
