Checking the Charge Air Bypass Valve




Checking The Charge Air Bypass Valve, V6







1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the charge air bypass valve.
2. Connect the pressure/vacuum pump, 30 14 883 and build negative pressure in the valve.
3. Check that the diaphragm is intact. If the diaphragm is damaged, no vacuum can be created.







4. Repeat points 2 and 3 but pump up a pressure.
5. Disconnect the pump.
6. Connect the vacuum hose.
