Compressor High-Pressure Pipe




Compressor High-Pressure Pipe (V6)

To remove
1. Place the car on a lift.
2. Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system.







3. Detach the high-pressure hose from the compressor and plug the openings. Raise the car.







4. Detach the pipe from the receiver and plug the openings.


IMPORTANT
If the desiccant container has been open for more than 15 minutes in total, it should be changed.


5. Loosen the pipe from the holder on the subframe and remove it.

To fit


NOTE: Insert the high-pressure pipe in the engine bay from the left side.


1. Position the high-pressure pipe on the subframe.
2. Remove the plugs. Replace the O-ring on the receiver connection, lubricating it with synthetic vaseline.







3. Screw on the PAD connection to the receiver.
Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 lbf ft)
4. Press in the high-pressure pipe to the holder on the subframe.
5. Remove the plugs. Replace and lubricate the O-ring on the compressor connection with synthetic vaseline, part no. 30 15 286. Insert the bolt and pipe.







6. Adjust the oil level in the compressor
7. Mount the pipe on the compressor.
Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 lbf ft)
8. Lower the car to the floor.
9. Evacuate the A/C system and refill with refrigerant.
