O-Ring and Sealing Ring In Seal Retainer, Left-Hand

To Remove
With gearbox removed
1. Undo the five screws on the seal retainer and remove the seal retainer. Keep shims, screws and the seal retainer in a safe place.





2. Press out the seal ring with Sleeve 87 91 311 and Support 87 92 236.





3. Detach the O-ring with a small screwdriver or similar.

To Fit





1. Press on the seal ring with Drift 87 92 657 until it stops. Use Tool 87 92 236 as support.





2. Lubricate a new O-ring and carefully fit it.





3. Fit the seal retainer and shims with the screws. Tighten alternate.
Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.)
