Lower Fluid Delivery Pipe
To Remove
1. Raise the car.
2. Place an oil pan under the transmission to collect fluid spill.
3. Remove the lower banjo bolt, plug the hole.
4. Lower the car to the floor.
5. Remove the pipes' bracket from the fan cowling.
6. Remove the bypass pipe and valve.
Remove the upper banjo bolt.
7. Unplug the connectors from the radiator fans. Undo the clip securing the hose to the expansion tank. Remove the screws and lift out the complete fan cowling.
8. Remove the lower banjo bolt.
9. Lift out the delivery pipe.
Fitting
NOTE: Change the seals in the banjo bolts.
1. Position the delivery pipe correctly.
2. Fit the banjo bolt but do not tighten it.
3. Fit the fan cowling and tighten the screws.
4. Plug in the connectors for the radiator fans. Fit the clip securing the hose to the expansion tank
Fit the upper banjo bolt but do not tighten it.
5. Fit the brackets on the fan cowling and tighten them.
Fit the upper and lower banjo bolts and tighten them.
Tightening torque: 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.)
6. Fit the bypass pipe and valve.
7. Raise the car.
8. Fit the banjo bolt on the transmission and tighten it.
Tightening torque: 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.)
9. Lower the car to the floor.
10. Fill with transmission fluid, Texaco Texamatic DEXRON 111 (7045 EU, TL1863 US), to the correct level
