Dismantling

IMPORTANT
A variant of the ORVR is available on the EU market that lacks both shut-off valve and tank pressure sensor (stripped ORVR)

1. Raise the car.

2. Unplug the shut-off valve connector.
3. Detach the shut-off valve hose from the EVAP canister.
4. Undo the clamps securing the filler pipe and vent pipe.

IMPORTANT
Be careful with the retaining screw on the bottom clamp, as this is a plastic safety screw that must be replaced every time it is removed/fitted.

5. Remove the vent pipe.

To fit
1. First, fit the smaller clamp (without tightening it) and then the larger one.

IMPORTANT
The plastic screw on the bottom clamp is a safety detail and must always be changed every time it is removed/fitted.

2. Connect the shut-off valve hose to the EVAP canister.
3. Spray with Kontakt 61 and plug in the connector to the shut-off valve.
4. Tighten the clamps.
