Checking The Memory Store Button












^ Connect a jumper lead between pin 2 and pin 6 of the female connector.







^ Read value: Memory Store Button (PSM).
The diagnostic tool should show ON when the jumper lead is connected and OFF when it is removed.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
