Unplug the connector:
^ Breakout box. (BOB)

Plug in the connector.
^ Control module TWICE (632)












^ Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to pin 6 of the rear right door's central locking motor and B+.







^ The test lamp should light.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO ^ Changing Components - II

YES ^ Continue with Check the Control Module












^ Connect test lamp 8611 857 to pin 3 of the rear right door's central locking motor and B+.







^ The test lamp should light.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO ^ Changing Components - II

YES ^ Continue with Check the Control Module












^ Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to pin 2 of the rear right door's central locking motor and B+.







^ The test lamp should light.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO ^ Changing Components - II

YES ^ Continue with Check the Control Module







^ Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.







^ Contact TWICE.












^ Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to pin 6 of the rear right door's central locking motor and a good ground point.

Activate: Pear Doors Unlock (OPEN)







^ The test lamp should light.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO ^ Changing Components - II

YES ^ Continue with Check the Control Module












^ Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to pin 2 of the rear right doors central locking motor and a good ground point.

Activate: All Doors Theft security (ON)







^ The test lamp should light.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO ^ Changing Components - II

YES ^ Change the Faulty Central Locking Motor
