Checking The Motor's Control Current





Unplug the connector:
- Motor, temperature flap, RH side (222RH)





- Connect a test lamp to pins 1 and 3 of the female connector.





- Activate the calibration function to run the stepping motor.





- Both the red and green LEDs should light up on the test lamp.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead

YES - Checking the Operating Current
