Checking Control Module Output to Horizon Motor, LH Side





Unplug the connector:
- Motor, electrically adjustable door mirror, LH (126)













- Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to pin 4 (horizontal selling) and pin 8 (common output) of the female connector.





- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Contact PMM.

Activate: Left Mirror In (ON)





- The test lamp should light with one colour.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Activate: Left Mirror Out (ON)





- The test lamp should light with a different colour.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO - Selecting RHD or LHD

YES - Checking Control Module Output to Vertical Motor, LH Side
