Power Seat Relay. Open Circuit / Short to Ground





Fault symptoms
The symptom for a short-circuit to B+ is that the electrically adjustable passenger seat cannot be operated.
The symptom for an open-circuit/short-circuit to ground is that the seat can be operated irrespective of the ignition key position or door position. The battery will discharge in the end.

Conditions
No diagnostic trouble code is generated for voltages below 11V or during diagnostic communication.

Diagnostic help
Control module outputs can be activated with the diagnostic tool.
