Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

To remove





1 Unplug the connector.
2 Loosen the hose clips on the connecting hoses.
3 Remove the mass air flow sensor.

To fit





IMPORTANT
Fit the mass air flow sensor in the direction of intake air flow as indicated by the arrows.





1 Put the mass air flow sensor in place.
2 Tighten the clamps on the connecting hoses.
3 Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 contact cleaner (part no.30 04 520). Plug in the connector.
