Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

To remove





1 Take off the rubber cap and unplug the connector.
2 Remove the sensor.

To fit





1 Inspect the sealing washer and replace it necessary.
Apply Vaseline or equivalent to the threads of the sensor. Fit the sensor.

Tightening torque 17 Nm (12 lb/ft)

2 Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 contact cleaner (part no. 30 04 520). Plug in the connector
3 Fit the rubber cap.
