Ignition Discharge Module, Rear

To remove







1 Remove the engine cover.
2 Undo the screws to the heat shield.
3 Unplug the connector to the pressure sensor on the intake manifold.







4 Remove the ignition discharge module.
5 Unplug the ignition discharge module connector.

To fit







1 Coat the rubber seals with Krytox (part No.30 19 312).
2 Spray the connectors with Kontakt 61 (part no.30 04 520). Plug the connectors into the ignition discharge module.
3 Fit the ignition discharge module.

Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 lbf ft).

4 Plug in the connector to the pressure sensor on the intake manifold.







5 Screw on the heat shield.
6 Fit the cover.
