Light Cluster In Tailgate 5D

To remove
1 Open the tailgate.





2 Remove the frame around the inner locking handle.
3 Remove the inner trim from the tailgate by removing the screws securing the door pull and the plastic clips in the trim.





4 Pull down the top of the trim so that it comes away from the clips and then pull it backwards to release the clip at the door pull.





5 Unscrew the nuts securing the light cluster (5x on right side and 4x on left side).
6 Right side:
Pull out the lock and allow it to hang from the locking rod. Check the seal around the lock cylinder
7 Remove the light cluster.

To fit





1 Put the light cluster in position.
2 Right side:
Fit the lock without damaging the seal.
3 Screw in the lamp.





4 Fit the inner trim by inserting the clip at the door pull and fastening the trim in the clips. Screw in the two screws in the door pull.
5 Fit the frame around the inner handle.
