Key Warning

The acoustic key warning is controlled by DICE and SID. The function is programmable (enabled/disabled).

+B current from the ignition switch is connected to pin 7 on the control module. This means that DICE detects +B when the key is in the ignition switch. If the driver's door is opened, DICE receives information on the instrument bus (I-BUS) from TWICE at the same time as it outputs information on the bus to SID which generates an acoustic signal.

Maximum length of time for the acoustic signal is 10 minutes.
