Internal Control Module. Malfunction.

Fault symptoms
- CHECK ENGINE.

On-Board Diagnostics
Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous. But interrupted when fault criteria fulfilled and does not restart until next driving cycle.

Enable conditions:
- Engine running

Fault criteria:
- Voltage from atmosphere absolute pressure sensor higher than 4.920 V for more than 1 S.

Dependents:
- None.

System reaction to a fault:
- Charge air pressure starting value used as substitute value. Purge blocked.

OK report:
- Fault criteria for P1631, P1632 or P1633 not fulfilled.

Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis concerns internal control module fault as the sensor is integrated in the control module.

Functions in the diagnostic tool related to the fault:
- Pressure sensor value, unit kPa.

The value should correspond with that of the other two pressure sensors when the engine is stationary. Accepted deviation: 10 kPa. See also the description of readings in "Fault diagnosis, general" for more information.
