Initiating Diagnostics





- Check the diagnostic status of P0420 with the diagnostic tool.
- Drive the car for 5 min. at varying speeds.
- No idle duration longer than 40 s and no engine braking with completely released accelerator pedal for more than 10 s.
- Then find a level road and hold an even speed of 70-90 km/h, with cruise control for example, for approximately 1 minute.
State what the diagnostic tool shows:

OK - Continue with Initiating Diagnostics.

NOT READY - Information

P1301-P1306 - Changing Components - I

Catalytic converter is OK.
