Relay, electrically heated rear window, door mirrors. Open circuit/shorting to ground.

Relay, electrically heated rear window, door mirrors. Shorting to B+.





Fault symptoms
Electrically heated rear window, electrically heated door mirrors. Malfunction.

Condition
The control module output is monitored and a diagnostic trouble code generated for the following
- Open circuit/short-circuit to ground
- Short-circuit to B+
Diagnostic trouble codes are not generated at voltages below 11 V nor in connection with diagnostics communication.

Diagnostic help
The control module output can be activated with the tester.
