Trailing Arm Bushing: Service and Repair


Bush, longitudinal link
To remove





1. Remove the longitudinal link.
2. Clamp the longitudinal link in a vice.
3. Saw pieces off the edge of the bush, as shown.
4. User puller 87 91 287 and sleeve 89 96 761 (KM-906-41) to press the bush out.

To fit





1. Position the bush correctly, see illustration, and press it into place using tool 87 92 236. Use 87 91 196 as a lid and 89 96 7E (KM-906-43) as a counterstay.
2. Fit the longitudinal link
