Pre-Installed Trailer Wiring
A pre-installed wiring harness for tow bar fitting.
A 10-pin connector 258 is located in the middle of the rear plate in the luggage compartment. Power to the following lights is supplied via the connector:
Pin 1 LH direction indicators (from DICE)
Pin 2 Rear fog lights (for monitor unit, from DICE)
Pin 3 Rear fog lights
Pin 4 RH direction indicators (from DICE)
Pin 5 RH parking lights
Pin 6 Brake lights (from brake light switch 29 via fuse 6B)
Pin 7 LH parking lights
Pin 8 Reversing lights
Pin 9 +30 (from fuse A)
Pin 10 +54 (from fuse 6)
Fault diagnosis hints
1 Check the electrical connections of the tow bar connector (particularly for corrosion).
2 Check that current is supplied to each terminal in connector 258.
3 Inspect the fuses and wiring harness.
