Evaporative Emission Canister-II

To remove
1 Remove the fuel tank.





2 Detach the purge line and the shut-off valve hose from the evaporative emission canister.
3 Detach the lines from the fuel tank to the evaporative emission canister.
a Press in the connection towards the evaporative emission canister in the direction of the connection
b Pinch the ring so that the catches go up.
c Detach the connection by pulling it away from the connecting pipe on the evaporative emission canister.
4 Loosen the vent hose with tool 83 95 261.
5 Undo the screw and remove the evaporative emission canister.

To fit





1 Fit the evaporative emission canister, making sure it hooks securely to its holder and screw it tight.
2 Reconnect the vent hose.

NOTE: Make sure the quick-release coupling is not damaged and that the indicator has been removed.

3 Connect the shut-off valve hose to the evaporative emission canister.
4 Connect the line from the fuel tank and then the line to the evaporative canister purge valve.
5 Make sure all hoses and couplings are intact and secure.
6 Fit the fuel tank.
