Fault diagnosis hints and tips
The electric window lifts can be operated when the ignition switch is in the Drive position (+54 circuit). The window lifts are grounded at grounding point G24 via pin 8 of the switch.

1 Check that fuses 6 and 36 are intact and supplied with current.
2 Check that current is supplied to motor 164.
3 Check that switches 386 and 190 are in working order.
4 Check that the sensors are giving reasonable values.
5 Check the wiring harness, connectors and ground connections.
