Replacement of the Rear Protective Shell



Replacement Of The Rear Protective Shell

To remove

1. Remove the bumper and lay it on a well-protected workbench.





2. Loosen the upper cell section from the protective shell. Lift it out from the bumper rail. (Wedged into the bumper rail).
3. Remove the two cell sections mounted on the protective shell. Detach the bumper rail from the 14 clips holding it to the protective shell and remove it from the shell.





4. Loosen the cell section from the protective shell (wedged into the protective shell's retaining wedges).





To fit





1. Fit the two cell section on the sides of the protective shell.
2. Press the cell section into the protective shell's retaining wedges.
3. Fit the bumper rail.





NOTE: The rail should be guided in place with a locating stud in the protective shell.

4. Fit the upper cell section.





5. Refit the bumper to the car.
