Check The MUTE Lead To The Amplifier

















- Connect test lamp 86 11 857 between B+ and pin 11 on the female connector.







- Switch on the main unit.







- The test lamp should NOT light.







- Turn off the main unit.







- The test lamp should go on after about 1 second.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead - VII

YES - Internal Control Module Fault
