Checking Control Module Ground







- Connect test lamp 86 11 857 across pins 1 and 3 in the control module.







- The test lamp should light.

Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead - II

YES - Continue with Checking Control Module Ground.












Take a voltage reading.

4 : Control module, SPA connector 1
B - : Battery ground

The reading should be 2 V - 3 V

NO - Checking Bus Leads to Control Module

YES - Continue with Checking control module ground.
