Adjusting the Glass Antenna (4D)

1 Turn the ignition ON.
2 Get into the rear seat.
3 Have someone cover the entire rear window with a blanket, tarpaulin or similar object. It should be dark (black) inside the car.
4 Check the rear window to see where the break is located. A point of light (spark) should be seen.
5 Mark the point on the window that is damaged.
6 Remove the blanket from the car.
7 Clean around the damaged point carefully and scrape away a few millimetres with a razor blade.
8 Apply (brush on) contact paint 45-3007499 to the damaged point.
9 Cut away surplus contact paint with a razor blade. Use a ruler as a guide.
10 Check antenna performance for good reception.
